FCC chairman Martin to reject Skype petition

LAS VEGAS (Reuters) - Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin said on Tuesday he would oppose a petition from Web-based telephone service Skype to open up wireless networks, citing policies designed to protect network operators from devices that can degrade call quality.
